Hello!

Hello and welcome to The Frenzied Fish Fanatic! First time blogger right here, so i thought i would describe a little bit about myself. My name is Landon and I was born in Canada. In fact, I still live in Canada. I am 16 and currently in Grade 10 at a high school here in town. My favourite subjects include biology, social studies and band (I play baritone saxophone for the schools Concert Band and Jazz Ensemble). Speaking of music, i am a musician by trade (I suppose you could say :P). I am learning to play a ukulele, I would like to learn how to play keyboard and/or piano, and i do sing a little regardless of whether or not i sound like a dying cat.

I am, as the title of this here blog states, a frenzied fish fanatic. I love fish, aquariums, the whole bit, which has persuaded me to pursue a career in Marine Biology. And this leads me to what this entire blog is all about! I am here to learn, educate newbies on my experiences so they enjoy fish keeping as much as I do, and I am here to enjoy the experience of blogging. Mostly though, to educate. I have been keeping fish for a couple of years, and in that time I have researched many a hour and I believe I should be sharing that knowledge with the rest of you people. So there you have it, the purpose of my blog.

I know, i know, as of right now there is NO information on this blog! (Aside from what I have told you about myself, but that's not why you guys have come here, is it?) It's going to be a bit of a work in progress, so please bear with me. As i said, first time blogger so I'm still tying up some loose ends. I'm going to try to put together a post on the Nitrogen Cycle within the next couple of days so I can actually say i am sharing some knowledge :) So i hope you guys stick around, because i can assure you bountiful riches of fish keeping knowledge, as soon as I figure out how to use this blasted keyboard :P

(Just so you guys are aware, i have not yet kept a saltwater tank. It's on the to do list, but i have no experience in said field as of right now. Therefore, all of my write-ups will most likely only apply to freshwater aquariums unless i state otherwise. Thank you for stopping by, and i hope you stick around
:D )
